About me

Meeting your needs through

My name is Michael Aspell and I came to the United Kingdom from New Zealand in 1991 to start a new life in a new country.

At first, I found the whole experience very challenging. The weather, the food, even the accent threw me.

So I can relate to the challenges that living in the UK poses to people from other parts of the world.

That is why I offer Cross-Cultural Training; to help people live and work effectively in the United Kingdom and in other countries.

My training would help you live and work effectively by giving you an understanding of the cultural aspects of the United Kingdom as well as information which can explain to you the culture, background history, and day to day living of the United Kingdom.

Cross-Cultural Training?

Why would someone from another country need Cross-Cultural Training?

Leaving your home country to live in another one is hard. Living and working in a different country in which you can feel lonely and isolated is harder...

How it is done

The training can take place at a venue convenient for you or via video conference. It is delivered in an informal conversational style aided by training materials sent by soft copy to you.

I have been conducting this training for the last seven years for one of the world's largest relocation companies. I have trained people at blue chip organisations such as Nike, Jaguar LandRover, Goldman Sachs, Pepsi, Proctor and Gamble, GE, British Aerospace, Johnson and Johnson, Coco Cola, BP, and Statoil among others...

What is the next step?

If you like, I would be happy to come and meet with other members of your team and discuss how we might be able to work together and perhaps conduct a free taster session for you and your colleagues.
